Charlie's headset was broken, clearly...

On Saturday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish lost to a bad, bad Syracuse team which has already fired its coach, Greg Robinson.

So what movie was playing on the Canadian version of The History Channel today? Rudy. Apparently, historically minded types are in fear our generation might might forget Notre Dame once had a good football team.

(This line actually came to mind in the office yesterday, when Charlie Weis' Golden Domers' were up by six over the Orange early in the fourth quarter and there was an Irish fan in the office. Then a sober second thought kicked in -- "nah, it'll never happen!")
