Brett Favre running a lap is good for the heart -- and not strictly his heart. That's New York Jets centre Nick Mangold trotting alongside him, so presumably they were paying a penalty for a fumbled snap.

Incidentally, does everyone remember The Simpsons when a wave of anti-immigrant fervour forces Apu, with some help from mobster Fat Tony, to "act American"? He starts wearing a Cowboy hat, saying the "Nye Mets are his favourite squadron" and tries to conceal his Indian accent? Would the Americanized Apu also cheer for the Nye Jets -- and would that create some tension between him and his parents, "Herb and Judy Nahasapeemapetilon, from Green Bay, Wisconsin"?
