He wasn't the sexiest NHL player, but in his prime Trevor Linden was a glue player that every team would have loved to have. By all accounts he was great in the community and a solid leader on the ice.
He will retire tomorrow. It's not likely to get much press outside of Vancouver. But, if he had played for the Leafs you know that they would be naming Yorkville restaurants after him today. I suspect we will see him back in hockey soon--maybe on a management level.
