Jays fans who make a point to know this stuff have known for a while we'll have to get used to a new Triple-A affiliate come 2009. Syracuse really has a push on to land the Mets affiliate, and Sen. Chuck Schumer is even involved.
(It's probably time to stop having Al D'Amato's attack ads from the 1998 election be the first point of reference with Chuck Schumer. It was almost 10 years ago, but they always aired during late-afternoon Seinfeld reruns.)
The Jays setting up shop in Buffalo would be nice.
