THE OTHER MESSIER

Mirtle has a very good post up pointing out that as kids, Mark Messier put up less impressive stats playing in the Alberta Junior Hockey League ("The AJ") than his older brother Paul Messier did.

Yet Paul Messier ended up being more famous for not not being famous. He played in the Oilers organization for a spell, but his brother ended up being the Beatles on ice in the 1980s. So does that make Paul Messier the Eric Griffiths of hockey?
