DON'T CRY FOR COUNT FRONTENAC

The Frontenacs have brought back the sweater with the classic Boston Bruins-styled Circle K crest. Weep not for Count Frontenac; good on the team for clueing in and realizing the Ontario Hockey League was 10 years behind on the cartoonish logo bandwagon.

For the uninitiated, this is the point in the calendar when a Fronts fans hopes start to puff up. The only known antibiotic for this is something called "the first month of the regular season."

(And hey, the first-round draft choice, centre Ethan Werek, might report after all. See? There we go again.)

Gotta love the traditional look! Now that Kingston has modelled hte way, would it be too much to ask for the 67s to give that dorky "angry puck" the quiet burial it deserves?

Yeah, it seems like major junior teams are realizing what the NBA figured out 10 years ago... cartoonish logos might go over well with 5-year-old kids, but the fans who have purchasing power have different tastes.

That might be a good blog topic actually -- best to worst uniforms in the three major junior leagues.
