Baseball Analysts has an interview with Gatineau's Philippe Aumont in advance of Thursday's major-league draft, where the 18-year-old right-handed pitcher he should be one of the first 10 players selected.
MLB.com's latest projection has Aumont going to the Baltimore Orioles with the No. 5 pick. A recommended read is comes courtesy of Sun Media's Serge Touchette, who had a profile recently on the 18-year-old pitcher which is somewhat more candid.
Unfortnately, there's no way the Jays could get Aumont in a uniform before Tomo Okha pitches tomorrow, regardless of how bad the Rays are rocking Roy Halladay right now.
