Co-Blogger Neil Acharya has a profile of former Maple Leafs' Calder Trophy winner Brit Selby in the May 8 print edition of The Hockey News (the one with Trevor Linden on the cover).
By the way, everything is coming up Acharya. Since last year, when we're talking on the phone, Neil has maintained that the NHL would try to revamp playoff overtime, saying it would only take a few prominent media members and players to plant the seed in the public consciousness.
Well, here's this nugget from a from Jim Kelley column at sportsnet.ca today:
"Television now seems to have leverage seemingly to the nth degree regards this issue (changing playoff overtime).
"The fact that (Bill) Clement is making the argument only seems to add to that argument.
"That makes it a pretty safe bet the NHL will revamp its overtime format for next season."
