LYNX: BOURN FREE TO RUN

Mop Up Duty notes that Philadelphia Phillies prospect Michael Bourn is having a solid spring training with the big club -- he's 5-for-5 on steals with 14 runs scored and an OPS in the .950 range. Ottawa Lynx fans (yes, they exist) have been looking forward all winter to seeing Bourn in the outfield here -- he's a burner who probably could have stolen 75-80 bases per year if he'd been born early enough for 1980s baseball.

Chances are Bourn will still be the Lynx leadoff man. He has yet to play a full season in Triple A, and he could be overmatched against major-league pitching.
