FRONTS KNOW WHEN TO HOLD 'EM

Quiet trade deadline day for our Kingston Frontenacs: GM-for-life Larry Mavety's only move was getting left wing Jesse Biduke from the Ottawa 67's for future considerations.

This was probably one of those player-initiated trades. Biduke, who's changing teams for the second time since September, was scratched from the 67's last home game vs. Peterborough last Friday and had become expendable, even before Ottawa acquired local player Mathieu Methot from Barrie today.

Meantime, with Cory Emmerton out, the Fronts needed a forward. Hey, it's not like the Fronts had the team to make a run at the Eastern Conference title... that'll be next year, eh?

The best team in the 613, the Belleville Bulls, did add overager Jason Doig, a point-per-game player.
