The Toronto Star is doing a little tub-thumping, reminding people that Internet balloting can help the late, great Tom Cheek's chances of being posthumously honoured with the Ford Frick Award, which the Baseball Hall of Fame gives out each year to one deserving broadcaster.
It need not be said that if Tom had worked in an American market and never missed a game for 27 1/2 years, like he did as the Voice of the Blue Jays, he would have been honoured while he was still an active broadcaster. So here's my two cents: Click here and vote early, vote often.
