As you debate whether to lay the points on the Cowboys this weekend (I would), fret about whether the Vikings finally have enough to win the Super Bowl (not as good of a bet I'm afraid), or obsess on a former Green Bay Packer QB (It's wrong to wish pain upon someone, you know. Tim Tindale in the 1994 Yates Cup aside) you might want to spare a moments thought to a Canadian kid that's made good.
The Indy Colts starting left guard Sunday is Alberta's Dan Federkeil.
Not only is Federkeil a Canadian (in every cliche way - he's always quick to return e-mails even as a NFLer), but he's Canadian trained. He stared for the Calgary Dinos in the middle part of this decade.
