Raptors: Hoopin' it up in the Capital

It's not news that the Toronto Raptors are holding a week of training camp in Ottawa -- globesports.com's Michael Grange reported it at his From Deep blog several weeks back.

The Raptors will be at Carleton's Ravens' Nest from Sept. 30-Oct. 4, with an intrasquad game on the Saturday afternoon. (Of all the weekends to plan a trip to Toronto, eh?).

The Raptors basketball development department and the Ravens men's and women's teams will be holding a free co-ed clinic for boys and girls 10-14 at the Ravens’ Nest Gymnasium. A co-ed clinic Thursday, October 2 from 6-7:30 p.m. will be open to the general public. There is some registration involved

Incidentally, how long has the all-but-dormant From Deep (it went on hiatus July 28) had a headshot and bio of Matthew Sekeres instead of Michael Grange? Granted, they each have blond hair, each has a serious basketball jones ... easy enough mistake.
