CFRC 101.9, Queen's University's campus radio station, is having their annual funding drive. In an effort to capture the spirit of the thing, Tyler King of CFRC Sports fame is devoting today's edition of Offsides, the station's 4-5 p.m. Friday afternoon sports roundtable, to interviews with some of the station's former personalities.
Tyler has interviews lined up with Jaime Stein and Bill Miklas, former Gaels play-by-play men. There's also one with a guy who started out at CFRC doing stats for football broadcasts, but who believed in himself and rose through the ranks to do agate -- entire pages of sports statistics, thank you very much. So if you want to hear me yammer on, you can listen over the Internet (cfrc.ca) around 4 p.m. today.
