GIVING THE SENS THEIR SPACE

Truth be known, there are Leafs fans outside the GTA who root for their team being busted down to regional coverage for Hockey Night in Canada in favour of the Senators being the national game on Saturday nights.

Besides, it's a chance for Ottawa fans to open their mouths and remove all doubt by claiming that Bob Cole would probably need to call Senators games for about three months (is it really that long till the playoffs) in order distinguish between Dany Heatley and Chris Neil.

It can be hard to tell No. 15 from No. 25 when one wears a visor and shoots left, while the other doesn't wear a visor in and shoots right. It is easy to tell Heatley from No. 16, Brian McGrattan -- Heatley's the one who actually plays.

At this point, any true Leafs fans should be passing on watching on the tube and heading out to an OHL arena to watch Alex Pietrangelo from the Niagara IceDogs, who should be available at around the No. 5 overall draft pick.
