Good news first: The Frontenacs won 5-3 over Guelph today, on a hat trick by Nate Moon.
Now the bad news: It was noted during the broadcast that the Fronts are down another defenceman. Stephane Chabot will miss 2-4 weeks, so the team played today with just 17 skaters, only four of whom are listed as D's. That's not exactly the way to head into a stretch that includes a home game against a good club, Brampton, followed by a five in a row on the road.
By the way, about time the Frontenacs radio broadcast was available online... spending 2 1/2 hours listening to their long-time play-by-play man Jim Gilchrist is like catching up with a favourite uncle or teacher you haven't seen in a long time, the one who's interested in all the sports your friends and immediate family aren't interested in.
