RAPTORS: IL MAGO NEEDS SOME JAM

The talking points after the Raptors' 105-99 exhibition win over Zalgiris Kaunas:

  • The Bargs Boards 'n' Blocks watch: Andrea Bargnani had eight rebounds and one blocked shot in 20 minutes, including chasing down a loose ball to save a possession in the final minutes. That's just OK. What's most important to know with Bargnani is how much jam he's going to play with in his second year. Everyone knows he can shoot the ball.
  • There's a lot to like about the new swingman, Carlos Delfino -- good length, had a nice deflection on D in the fourth quarter. Joey Graham, meantime, needs aversion therapy to get him to remember where he's supposed to be on defence half the time. He can't be a rotation guy come the opener, can he?
  • The defence and transition game remain in absentia. It's October 18, though.
  • What was with that detailing on the side of Zalgiris' uniforms? It looked like something from one of Craig Sager's suit jackets.
