Orleans' Courtnay Pilypaitis, who plays point guard at NCAA Division 1 Vermont, has been named a tri-captain for Canada's entry at the upcoming FIBA under-19 women's worlds which begins Thursday in Bratislava, Slovak Republic.
Pilypaitis is one of six players on the team who also played for Canada's in the U-21 women's worlds is Moscow earlier this month. Two CIS players were chosen -- UBC Thunderbirds guard Devan Lisson and post player Laurelle Weigl, who was the top scorer last season for the national champion Simon Fraser Clan.
