RAPTORS: FAREWELL, JT, AND WELCOME, NEILADAMUS

Raptors fans are going to miss assistant coach Jim Todd sharing his often salty observations at halftime with the game announcers now that's he joined the Milwaukee Bucks as an assistant coach.

It'll take some time to get used to the reality that Sam Mitchell's coaching staff no longer has a straight-talking, no-nonsense type. Mike Evans, a Raptors scout, is moving up to coaching. Who knows, maybe the Canadian, Jay Triano, will be more publicly visible next season, although his role is apparently going to remain the same.

JUST CALL HIM NEILADAMUS

This is almost kind of eerie:

"This simple gesture was in fact a grand statement by the astute and soon to be best dressed in Toronto nominee, Bryan Colangelo."
Neil Acharya, Oct. 31, 2006

"Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo says his style hovers between North American and Italian style. Colangelo has all his shirts custom made at Manifatture all’ Orologio in Bologna, Italy, and tailors in Phoenix and Toronto and visits to Via Cavour and Harry Rosen keep him in slim-cut suits."
Toronto Star living section, June 7

That's all for now. Send your thoughts to neatesager@yahoo.ca.
