LYNX: BISONS SPOIL THE CHILDERS DEBUT

It's really something that the Lynx are even playing games when you consider that the Cleveland Indians haven't been able to play a home game yet due to snow. It was 2 C (35 F) in Buffalo today, but the game went on and the Lynx lost 8-3 to the Bisons, who hit Matt Childers early and often. Again, it was cold. Positives in the loss: Everyone hit (Ron Calloway had two runs scored) and John Ennis turned in three innings of scoreless, five-strikeout relief.

The Lynx have added two pitchers, Joe Bisenius and Zack Segovia. Bisenius is a young guy who can bring it, but was the odd man out in the big club's bullpen after the parent Phillies traded with the Jays for Francisco Rosario last week. Segovia had 16 wins between Single- and Double-A and pitched for Team USA in the Olympic qualifying tournament.
