Whenever something historic happens with Les Glorieux, I always seek out the Montreal Gazette's Red Fisher to tell me a story. Whether it was the closing of the Forum in 1996, Rocket Richard lying in state at the then Molson Centre, a comment about Bob Gainey in light of his recent family tragedy, or tonight's case, Ken Dryden's sweater retirement. Red himself is part of the Canadiens lore and he always tells me something I didn't know and I always leave a little better versed in our national game
