Someone at Canadian Press apparently had CIS football on the brain today.
A business story just moved on the wires about Western Areas, an Australian nickel and copper producer, buying a stake in a company called Mustang Minerals.
So it was slugged "BC-Western-Mustang."
Queen's Golden Gaels fans are obligated to point out that there's no way these mining companies could ever mint a good fourth quarter for the actual Western Mustangs.
(Back in the day, there was one fan who used to sit in the end zone at every Vanier Cup in Toronto and hang a banner: "AT LEAST WESTERN ISN'T IN IT." Is he still doing that, and is he travelling all the way to Saskatoon just for the chance to slag Western?)
