HOCKEY TODAY (A LITTLE LATE, YES)

There's lots of stuff you may have missed, like Peewee and his famous...

Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Andrew Raycroft missed practice today after leaving last night's 6-4 win in Boston with a mild groin strain. (Funny, one would think there's no such thing as a "mild" groin strain.)

Not exactly good news for the Leafs, who, you know, tend to be a little overly reliant on their goalie from time to time.

(UPDATE: Raycroft is definitely out for tomorrow's game against the Canadiens.)

There isn't much to add about the game other than to say it was a strange one -- the Leafs led 3-0 after one despite being outshot 18-10 in the period. The Bruins were outshot in the third, yet scored twice to draw within 5-4 before Alexei Ponikarovsky buried the empty-netter.

That's all for now. Send your thoughts to neatesager@yahoo.ca.
