- The Hamilton Tiger-Cats turfed coach Greg Marshall and while back and seeing as it hasn't done anything to alleviate their losing ways, general manager Rob Katz may soon be out of a job as well. The Tabbies lost 51-8 last-night to Saskatchewan, marking the third straight home game it failed to score a touchdown. (Hamilton's scoring: two punt singles and three conceded safeties. Really.)
- No surprise here: The Minnesota Vikings released wideout Koren Robinson, who was slotted as their No. 1 receiver before his drunk-driving arrest. He has issues that go way beyond learning his pass routes. Of course, this wouldn't be the Vikes if some other player wasn't embarking on some folly: Free safety Dwight Smith has been arrested for indecent conduct after an incident with a consenting young woman in a stairwell. C'est la vie avec les Vikings.
- Not for the faint of the heart: The Flagrancy is counting down the 50 Most Dubious Moments in Toronto Raptors History. Better to do it know before the great turnaround begins this season.
- It's way too early to start discussing hockey. End of sentence.
That's all for now. Send your thoughts to neatesager@yahoo.ca.
