The non-apology apology raised to art form

It's only sporting to pass along a nice epilogue on ex-sportsnet.ca NFL analyst Chris Landry's shenanigans.

"I, Chris Landry, sincerely apologize for several recent internet columns published under my name at Sportsnet.ca that contain passages that are identical or almost identical to internet columns previously published by Mike Lombardi and Andrew Brandt on nationalfootballpost.com. If anything I have said could be interpreted as indicating I believe either of these gentlemen used my material, directly or indirectly, I wish to make it clear that I do not believe they did." -- via ProFootballTalk.com
One commenter likened this to O.J. apologizing for the dead bodies. That is just unnecessary.
