Friday Night Lights is back on over-the-air TV in exactly seven weeks.
No doubt a few of you filthy downloaders (glove tap: Russell Peters) are up on the goings-on down in Dillon, Texas, the quarterback controversy, the closure with the storylines of Smash Williams (the brash running back) and Jason Street (the quarterback who was paralyzed in the first episode). It is almost better waiting, waiting, waiting for the show to come back on network TV (uh, unless someone wants to hook up the Luddite). Besides, FNL is a good armchair-quarterback show: You can know what's coming and keep watching, just to see how it's carried off.
