Tonight is yet another early season test for the Raptors, one of them "big" games against a surging youthful Atlanta Hawks team, who are very hot out the gates! (even more than Toronto's great start as the Hawks knocked off both Orlando AND New Orleans while on the road...yikes!). Michael Grange over at The Globe & Mail had a solid write-up today about the importance of the Raptors to claim this win, because if they're going to be considered one of the best in the conferences they do need to beat the young, rising teams like this. After a tough loss to the Pistons, this is the perfect bounce-back to keep the gears running and moving in the right direction.
For all those Raps fans out there tonight's game should be a great one, both entertainment-wise as well as to help gauge the Toronto squad. Yes, I know, it seems like EVERY game this season has been huge but the way their schedule has worked out to date honestly there have been plenty of important contests to serve as a measure. But then again in a season where Toronto has set its goals high this is a trend that won't soon come to an end as every game will be very important!
