Kids Do The Darndest Things!

Well this looks oddly familiar, does it not? In a Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic Athletic Association (HWCAA) Football semi-final game at Ivor Wynne Stadium this past weekend, the St. Jean de Brebeuf Braves were down 15-10 with only 2 seconds remaining in the game. Trailing the Cardinal Newman Cardinals, apparently the Brebeuf players actually talked about this one in the huddle before the play! While trying their best to imitate Trinity University, a homemade video captured the play that these players will likely never stop talking about for the rest of their lives!

Brebeuf head coach Steve Alfano was still hyperventilating after.

"I don't really want to see that one again, because that was just too much," he joked as he regained his composure. "It was at least six touches of the ball, maybe more.

"You want to get the ball into the hands of your skills players, just not usually all of them on one play."
