The tale of the missing Golden just keeps getting more confusing. It seems that southeastern Ontario's finest degree granting institution was only sort of serious about its recent name adjustment.

sounds like someone realized they just wasted a lot of money...
The article leads me to believe that Queen's will take two years to receive feedback and then make a final decision on the name.
In the meantime we can write the name as Queen's ?????? Gaels.
It sounds like we won.
I'll write a post on this today - this is a very clever coverup to try and deflect criticism. Film at 11.
Sounds to me we can call them whatever we want and they would prefer us to call them Queen's Gaels.
"It seems that southeastern Ontario's finest degree granting institution"
Duane ends one issue and starts another. Southeastern Ontario's? Please give Queen's some academic credit here.
Well, being southeastern Ontario's finest degree lending institution doesn't preclude the Goldens from also being Ontario's, Canada's or even the world's finest too. But, I'll leave that debate up to the finest Canadian newsweekly magazine that starts with the letter "M."
