This has nothing to do with any CIS football game in Toronto

(Toronto 18, Waterloo 17: Tyler King and James Mirtle each called it.)

Nothing short of a brilliant post.

Congrats to the resident prognosticators.

Now, if only Toronto can beat Windsor to make me look like I know something. I went 0-2 today on my picks to go 8-0 (Guelph should have won, though).

First win for the Varsity Blues since 2001...good grief, do you realize how many players must have gone through their entire careers in this program without a single win?
Let's hope Toronto doesn't have to wait another 7 years for another win.

On another note, shame on the Ottawa Gee Gees.
Leading Western 31-13 with less than 10 minutes to go, the Gee Gees did a great impersonation of U of T on any other day.
They were outscored 22-0 in the last and a half minutes to stagger to a 35-31 loss.
I hate to use the 'C' word but come on...how else could anyone describe an el foldo job like that?

Is it possible the spirit of the Gee-Gees and that of the Varsity Blues changed bodies for about a hour tonight?

No way Ottawa should have 438 yards passing and lose to Western, although last year the 35-30 win down there might have flattered them (remember 340-lb. guard Frank Spera scoring the winning touchdown on a fumble rec. in the EZ?)

Hey Neate, good job on the player profiles in the Queens program.
