Runner's high for Gillis

10,000-metre runner Eric Gillis, whom Duane covered off in a post seven days ago, is going to run for Canada in the Beijing Olympics after all.

He won his appeal, launched after Athletics Canada decided not to take him to Beijing under its "rising star" designation, a couple hours ago. Runner's Web has a brief article up and the Guelph Mercury's Greg Layson, who tipped up to the story, will have more in his paper tomorrow.
