It definitely applies for Ibrahim (Obby) Khan — the one-time No. 1 overall CFL draft choice and anchor of Simon Fraser's 2003 Canada West championship team lost almost one-third of his weight, dropping from 305 pounds to 205, during his ordeal, while also dealing with the loss of his father.
It doesn't need to be said that we should be proud Canadian football shapes and is shaped by people with Obby's determination.
