It would be pretty easy to be cynical about the Leafs decision to give away all tickets for an extra exhibition game next fall. Since it's a promotional tie in with Coca-Cola Zero, and the game is an add on to the schedule, it's not like MLSE will be losing any money on the thing (actually, there is a good chance the game will be more profitable since Coke is likely paying for the seats and MLSE will make money off of concessions and merchandise).
But, still...it's nice to see a pro franchise giving back, no matter what the motivations are.
So, no cynicism today. MLSE got one right. There is always a first.
