It's kind of impressive that Don Cherry is running in the Top 10 in a poll on Joe Posnanski's blog to pick the best national colour commentator in the United States.
That's impressive since Cherry doesn't get a ton of exposure Stateside -- he only appears on ESPN during the playoffs. Then again, some would consider him lesser evil compared to John Madden, Tim McCarver, Joe Morgan, Dick Vitale and Bill Walton, each of whom are lagging behind him in Poz's poll.
