CIS CORNER: WORLD-FAMOUS ALL OVER SOUTH DAKOTA

It's mildly hilarious that a goal call that Queen's student radio hockey commentator Matthew Bisson made last winter was even reference in a newspaper story from South Dakota about Queen's centre Brady Olsen signing with the Rapid City Rush.

Olsen,  who hails from L.A. County (Lennox and Addington, not the other one that is home to any number of tabloid-fodder legal proceedings) is actually the first player signed by the Rush, a new entry in the Central Hockey League.

(Our man Tyler King's editing work did help Olsen get a little notoriety, apparently.

Congratulations are in order for a fellow Sun Media'er, the London Free Press' Morris Dalla Costa, who is the OUA nominee for the Fred Sgambati Award for top-notch media coverage of university sports.)

Paper in South Dakota referenced it? Wow. As the tech. producer of that broadcast it's funny that the line from the game is still going.
