It's been a rough season for former Frontenacs captain Cory Emmerton, what the mononucleosis, the trade to Brampton and that team falling behind 2-1 in their playoff series against seventh-seeded Barrie. That's more than most 19-year-olds can handle.
At least the Detroit Red Wings are saying all the right things about their prize prospect. Brampton is back in the series and probably will prevail. Meantime, someone needs to figure out if there is a curse associated with wearing the 'C' for the Frontenacs and what it should be called.
