It's good to know how long the Kingston Frontenacs can count on their new arena providing an attendance bump: One game.
One game. Look it up. The Frontenacs had a sellout of 5,700 on Friday for the opener vs. Belleville. Yesterday against Peterborough it was right back to 2,283. They brought the Memorial Centre-sized crowds right with them. Some fresh start that was.
Someone should be embarrassed. However, Frontenacs owner Doug Springer and GM-for-life Larry Mavety have usually shown that they're beyond embarrassment. That's a shame you can't shame them.
