READY FOR THE RYAN EXPRESS



Rick Mercer should be the quarterback on the Roughriders scout team this week.... he looks about as ready to start a Grey Cup as Winnipeg's Ryan Dinwiddie.

Hell, why not start Mercer? At least then this game might get some decent ratings. (That groaning you heard yesterday was from the CFL suits, realizing that the ratings dream that was a Toronto - BC match-up had just turned into the worst ratings nightmare they could have imagined.)

As it stands now, this game might be as competitive as Bambi vs. Godzilla. Stranger things have happened, of course, but I fully expect that the Rider D is going to eat Dinwiddie alive.
