J.D. Drew is going so bad against lefties that Hugo Chavez could probably get him out.
Apparently, he'll sit again in Game 5 of the ALCS when the Red Sox try to extend the series against Cleveland and C.C. Sabathia. Does that make Drew the first $15-million-a-year platoon player? Bobby Kielty will start in right field.
Drew had a .638 on-base-plus-slugging against lefties this year, which wouldn't even win him a spot in the White Sox lineup. (Thumbs-up to The Tao of Stieb.)
