It takes a cynical bastard to pour cold water on the Kingston Frontenacs ending a seven-game losing skid (7-5 tonight over Peterborough, their first win in regulation all season). They needed a win like an ex needs a personal trainer about three weeks after you tried to let her/him down easily.
Kingston blew a pair of two-goal leads but it was apparently one of those old-school games where the teams just trade goals, and they got three in a span of 2:48 midway through the third period. Matt Kang busted out with a pair of goals.
A four-point weekend would be a lot more convincing. There hasn't been one yet this season.
