LYNX: DARNELL THAT DAY OF RECKONING

An ex-Lynx came back to haunt Ottawa tonight -- Darnell McDonald doubled in the tying run and scored the winner vs. Geoff Geary in Rochester's two-out, two-run rally in the seventh which was the difference in 4-3 win (boxscore, play-by-play).

Randy Ruiz hit a three-run homer, his first big fly since his, uh, controversial promotion to Triple-A, to drive in all the Lynx runs. Righty reliever Clay Condrey has cleared waivers and returned to the team; he pitched a scoreless eighth.

Kevin (Bubba) Nelson (2-4, 4.50, 1.36 WHIP) faces Rochester left-hander Dave Gassner (2-9, 5.00, 1.39 WHIP) tomorrow night at 7:05.
