Hat tip this a.m. to an athlete from the old alma mater: Ernestown Secondary School's Meredith Papps, whose family lived for many years on the same road as the Sagers (her brother Keenan and Shawn Sager, Official Brother of Out of Left Field, were minor hockey teammates), won a silver medal in javelin at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association track and field meet held in Ottawa over the weekend.
