LYNX: SWANN SONG ON LONG AFTERNOON...

Weird pattern going on with the Lynx: Pedro Swann has good games in one-sided losses. Swann went 3-for-4 with his first homer of the year in Friday's loss; today he drew a pinch-hit walk and scored the only run in a 9-1 loss (boxscore, play-by-play)to the R-Braves

There's very little else to say about this one. Rick Bauer manfully started (Kane Davis had been announced) and it was 5-0 after two innings, with Richmond cashing in four in the second inning after Bauer's wild throw on a pickoff attempt. Richmond's Dan Smith barely got a scratch (five hits, one earned run across 6-plus innings).

Lynx lefty Eude Brito (1-2, 10.29, 1.86 WHIP in just seven innings) faces Richmond righty Trey Hodges (2-2, 3.30, 1.29 WHIP).
