LYNX: HEY, DIDN'T YOU USED TO BE MARK BELLHORN?

Brian Sanches' couple scoreless innings of relief was a bright spot a 5-2 Lynx loss (boxscore, play-by-play). Other than that, instead of grinding out runs, it's been a tough grind, period: This was the sixth game out of seven where the the Lynx scored two runs or less.

Mark Bellhorn, the starting second baseman from the '04 Boston Red Sox, the fabled World Series-winning Idiots, hit a two-out, two-run homer off Rick Bauer in the first inning to give Louisville a 3-0 lead. The headline "Ex-Beantowner has a gas Soxing to Lynx," was begging to be written, but wouldn't you know that it was too long for the space.
