Sharks 3 Predators 2 (San Jose wins 4-1): In three tries now, the Predators have never won an elimination game -- does that mean Barry Trotz is English for Jacques Martin? San Jose's move to put Patrick Marleau, Bill Guerin and Joe Thornton together was the tipping point. By the way, Paul Kariya: Two assists and a minus-4 in the series.
Sabres 4 Islanders 3 (Buffalo wins 4-1): Ryan Miller's series-clinching Gumby job was pure genius, but we like to think that Sabres fans had Ty Conklin flashing before their eyes when they saw their goalie twist like that.
Devils 3 Lightning 0 (New Jersey leads 3-2): Methinks John Tortorella was looking for a way to put the attention on himself with the post-game F-bombs. Nice diversionary tactic, but the series is probably over.
