I'VE SEEN MOST OF THE COUNTRY, FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD...

It seems like Hockey Canada's mission is to have all the towns where we've lived/worked represented at the world championship -- Kingston's Jay McClement, the St. Louis Blues centreman, was added to a lineup which already includes Simcoe's Dwayne Roloson.

Once the Sens finish off Pittsburgh tonight, that frees up one Sidney Crosby to take care of the Halifax area. As for Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Arron Asham's New York Islanders are also one loss from elimination.

Another Team Canada note: Kanata's Cory Murphy, a defenceman who averaged more than a point per game with IFK Helsinki in the Finnish Elite League this season, will be taking part in the training camp.
