BLEEDING TRICOLOUR: WAIT UNTIL HE FINDS OUT ABOUT THE "BANANAS IN PYJAMAS"

Quick CIS note: Ian Hazlett, an OUA all-star linebacker with the Queen's Golden Gaels, is coming back for a fifth season -- but with the Ottawa Gee-Gees, not the Gaels. Hazlett is taking a second degree in sport management at the U of O, so he can play right away.

Hazlett was injury-plagued last season, limited to three regular-season games before returning to help Queen's upset McMaster in the playoffs before losing in the conference semi-final to, wait for it, Ottawa.

Coach Denis Piché's Gee-Gees are deep at linebacker. However, if Mike Sheridan or Cheeler Lindor catch on with a CFL team, Hazlett could come in handy. The Gaels, as they have in most seasons, face the Gee-Gees over the Thanksgiving weekend, Oct. 6 in Ottawa.
