FRONTS ACTUALLY WIN SIGNIFICANT GAME

Quick Fronts/67's update:

  • Our Kingston Frontenacs won 5-2 Sunday in Oshawa in a game that as of right now, stands as a first-round playoff preview. Cory Emmerton had a pair of goals for the Frontenacs, who are two points up on Sudbury for the No. 5 playoff seed. If they beat the Wolves Friday or win their finale in Mississauga Saturday, they clinch fifth. Oshawa's one point up with a pair of games in hand, so it may be hard for Kingston to wrest away fourth spot and home ice in the first round.
  • The 67's 3-1 loss to Barrie yesterday probably seals a seventh-place fate and an opening-round matchup with the Belleville Bulls. With four games left, Ottawa still has a mathematical possibility of overtaking the Fronts and the Wolves.

So it's K-Town vs. the Shwa and Bellevegas vs. Ottawa, most likely.
