David Beckham might play in Canada this summer -- but his first game north of the border wouldn't be in T.O. against Toronto FC. The Vancouver Province noted that the pro team there, the Whitecaps, is trying to arrange a friendly with Beckham's L.A. Galaxy.
Even if it comes off (Frank Yallop, the former Canadian national team coach, now coaches L.A.), it's not known when Beckham would join the galaxy.
