HOCKEY LAST NIGHT...

Two days later, Ryan Miller's save on Paul Mara still looks great.

Sabres 6 Bruins 3: Phil Kessel not only gets his first points since his cancer scare, but scores two goals -- and Boston still loses. Que Sera, Que Sera.

Stars 4 Flames 2: Calgary's coming back to earth now that the thrill of trying to win without Jarome Iginla has worn off... not often that a visiting team defenceman is first star when his team loses, but somehow Andrew Ference did it.

Headlines: Penguins, Pa. governor to hold arena talks; the new uniforms may mean a return to white sweaters at home; Jason Spezza and Mike Fisher may be linemates again when they get back in the lineup.

NHL Scoreboard

Today's better games: Capitals-Hurricanes, 7; Canucks-Team Mud, 7:30; Ducks-Oilers, 9.

That's all for now. Send your thoughts to neatesager@yahoo.ca.
